529 Plan
Named after section 529 of the tax code, the 529 plan is a tax-advantaged plan operated by a state or an education institution designed to encourage saving for college. The federal tax advantage is that earnings on funds contributed to 529 accounts are not federally taxed when withdrawals are used for educational purposes. As of January 1, 2018, 529 plans may be used for K-12 education tuition.

  • INCLEMENT WEATHER
If school needs to be closed for inclement weather, an announcement will be sent to all major news stations: WLEX18, WKYT27, & WTVQ36. We will be listed as St. Mark Catholic School and are completely separate from Madison County Schools. An announcement will also be posted on our FB page and a text will be sent out via Remind101.
  • ILLNESS POLICY
If your child should become ill, do not send them to school until they are symptom free for 24 hours. PLEASE! If your child throws up at noon please do not send them back to school until noon the next day, provided they have had no fever or other symptoms since that time. We wish to keep our facility as germ free as possible for your child. Thank you for your cooperation.

We are using a revolutionary program to accelerate your child’s potential for academic, athletic, and social success. This research-validated program is designed to stimulate your child’s VISUAL processing, AUDITORY processing, as well as their MOTOR skills. The outcome is a better integrated and balanced child who will perform better in school and at home. http://mimlearning.com/
